Language Arts: Write a summary about the chapter we read in class.
Science: Complete your lab sheet.
Math: Work on the computation worksheet.
Language Arts: We read the chapter streaming today. We had a discussion about bullying off from school property. Students thought that if bullying happened off from school property than it was not considered a school issue. We learned that through the bullying laws that school can get involved and that students need to speak up if they are being bullied.
Science: Today we did a new lab. Students from my homeroom went to Ms. Orlando's class to complete an experiment about
Social Studies: Today we really worked hard to understand how to locate exact locations on maps using latitude and longitude. Students confidence was gaining as we worked together as a class to locate various locations. Students completed a worksheet and we will continue to reinforce these skills when we explore Latin America and Canada this year.
Math: Practice Activities to prepare for a quiz on Friday.
Poetry: Students have done an awesome job creating poems about the Hunt Garden. Be sure to mark your calendar for our Harvest Dinner which will occur in October. More details on the Hunt web page to follow.
